Tblunt: /* 4) Optional Quiz */

==Procedure==
All trainings are to follow this basic procedure:

===1) Training Request Form===
All trainings must be submitted through [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1XrV3bVwW9GiWPNG8d6H0p5ThXtupOK3r0eTRbMVBLak/edit?usp=drive_web this form]. This form will not be checked daily, so you must also inform a manager or Mr. Chamberlain about having submitted the form. All responses are logged in a spreadsheet.

===2) Approval from a manager===
All trainings must be approved by a manager or Mr. Chamberlain. All trainings must also be demonstrated to a manager or Chamberlain prior to the actual training take place to ensure that they go well. To get a training approved, after submitting the form, talk to a manager and ask them to look at [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-3GW-dGs6gWkQ7P2NbwjqbdxzgWkIU3zxxR0vjq5Ul8/edit?usp=drive_web&ouid=100992440843392806718 this spreadsheet]. Approval will be based almost entirely off of this spreadsheet.

===3) Training Write-Up===
Each training must be written up as a notes document to have during the training. These notes must cover all of the basics and information that needs to be addressed.

===4) Post Training Quiz===
The person that is performing the training may choose to write up a quiz , for which guidelines may be found [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IoyozQqfro3Pj1Nn-4kkBPphwdCvsWD7rymiDyS9yIQ/edit?usp=drive_web&ouid=100992440843392806718 here]. A quiz is not required for a training. Quizzes may be used for the more important trainings that have valuable information which you cannot mess up. A quiz template is also provided at [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FnnvbTMephAMaLPkLgr_C-Z-qAnUXlDLMEW52aKzupk/edit this link]. The template is a suggestion for what types of questions are on the quiz, but the template may not be used based on the training. Google Forms is the recommended way to make these quizzes.

===5) Feedback Submissions===
After each training, all technicians trained must submit a feedback form, found at [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1O1Nr171ZQaFidcdkFyNU_p7zO9MaR-Dd9Am4_8QSwPg/edit?usp=drive_web this link]. All feedback should be submitted within 24 hours of completion of the training.

===6) Feedback Review===
All feedback is to be reviewed by the person that administered the training within 24 hours of submission of the feedback forms, or a total 48 hours after completion of the training. Feedback is logged in [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tCuJ4mKVgeTYSqeH7ZGcf4wzE0vG439LF2J3PF_AqkU/edit?usp=drive_web&ouid=100992440843392806718 this spreadsheet].

For the training on this Wikipedia page, there is a quiz. Please take it at [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdoJg6rxE6SuWNUDh3oZS8pvptUQKWvb65p-zkGqWzgVyVzYQ/viewform this link].

==Introduction==
Teachers in MHS request Macs on a daily basis, as well as bring them back to 24pintech. When a teacher requests a Mac we want to make sure that teacher gets the Mac OS and not Windows, or Linux.

==Imaging the Mac==
Once a Mac is confirmed to work you must image it, especially if there is a different OS other than Mac. In order to image a Mac you must:

#hold N until a globe appears on screen
#allow everything to load
#once prompted select restore a master
#select "October 2017"
#select "Macintosh HD"
#press the play button

Once the image process is complete restart the Mac.

==Start-up==
If a Mac has Multiple operating systems installed, upon booting up the PC you may notice it automatically boots up into the old operating system that is not Mac OS. In order to bypass this, hold the Alt key as the Mac is booting up. This will display all of the operating systems installed and allow you to select one. Select "Macintosh" and boot it up.

==Set-up==
Once imaged and in the Mac OS sign in using the MUSD credentials

Username: musd

Password: iw2bosx

Once signed in, make "Macintosh" the boot OS. do this by going to applications--->Utility--->Disk Utility. Make sure apps are able to be downloaded as well as the Mac itself can connect to the WIFI.

Delete any other operating systems, by going into disk utility and delete them. If the Mac does not allow you to delete the partition, then run boot camp and delete it that way.

==Accounts==
Now that everything is set up go ahead and add accounts to the system. 2-3 accounts will be added to the system. Mandatory in any and all systems is going to be the 24pintech account.

Username: 24pintech

Password: ATX$2000

make the 24pin account an Admin

The next account is the teacher's account. Make this account an Admin. This will be a generic account.

Username: First Initial+last name.

Password: First initial+last initial+year

If there is going to be students using that specific computer the account will be generic.

Username: Student

There will be no password for the student accounts. Student accounts will not be admin either.

==Delivering the Mac==

Once EVERYTHING listed above has been completed take the Mac to the teachers room and set them up. The teacher should have a spot for the Mac to go. The spot should have a Ethernet port, and power outlet near it. Upon arrival to the class be prepared to:

#Give the teacher the logins specific to Him/Her and their students (if this applies). A printed out sheet of paper with the logins is recommended for the teacher to reference later on.
#Show the teacher how to use Mac OS, because it can be confusing to most.
#Download any other requested apps the teacher may want/need.
If there is going to be students using that specific computer set the username to something that relates to that class. Set the password to something that is common in school accounts.
== Delivering the Mac ==
Once EVERYTHING listed above has been completed take the Mac to the teachers room and set them up. The teacher should have a spot for the Mac to go. The spot should have a Ethernet port, and power outlet near it. Upon arrival to the class be prepared to:

# Give the teacher the logins specific to Him/Her and their students (if this applies). A printed out sheet of paper with the logins is recommended for the teacher to reference later on.
# Show the teacher how to use Mac OS, because it can be confusing to most.
# Download any other requested apps the teacher may want/need.

Teachers in MHS request Macs on a daily basis, as well as bring them back to 24pintech. When a teacher requests a Mac we want to make sure that teacher gets a Mac OS and not Windows, or Linux.

The reason I joined 24pintech was for the knowledge and experience of working with technology; being able to repair and configure technology has always been a big portion to a dream of mine and this class will help me achieve that dream. My dream is to design my own device and have it take it off and become something the world needs and wants. Knowing the components of technology devices and how each component works, and how to repair those components and the device itself will benefit me tremendously in my journey to making this all a reality. I hope to learn to troubleshoot, build and repair if not all technology, a majority of tech out in the world. I hope to exit this program as not only the most "talented" tech, but the smexiest. My time here has been nothing but fun and informational, and for that I am grateful and I'm down to learn some more to get me set in life and put me on the right track. Shout out to C-dawg for making my dream possible!
