New page

== Introduction ==
SkillsUSA is a technical and career student organization in the U.S., aiming to prepare students with the necessary skill sets they need to for their future careers.

Every year, SkillUSA hosts state championships nationwide. Within these state championships are a variety of competitions ranging from engineering to the arts. The championships are meant to test the skills that students have attained throughout the school year, as they go head-to-head with students from schools throughout their state. The champions of each competition from each participating state will then compete at the National SkillsUSA championship.

== Internetworking at SkillsUSA AZ ==
The SkillsUSA AZ championship is located at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ.

The Internetworking competition is hosted by professional network engineers, electrical engineers, and systems engineers. This particular competition tests the competitor's ability to pitch a network design, make cables and patch panels, configure routers and switches, and troubleshoot an issue through a TAC call. As such, the 2018 Internetworking competition had a total of 4 stations.
