Company Description

The 24pin Technology team consists of a group of students all currently attending Maricopa High School. We are all extremely enthusiastic about all things technology, which prompted us to create the company. The company will allow the students to be able to gain experience in information technology, thus preparing them for future careers within the industry. As part of the training program, employees will be certified in various courses, including but not limited to the A+ Certificate, CCNA certification and multiple other TestOut Course certifications.

Systems Administrator

Job Description:

A Systems Administrator is a person who is in control of the servers and maintains them.They make sure that the servers are up to date and functioning correctly. They specifically work on our Linux Ubuntu server 18.04 and our Windows server 2016. For the Linux Ubuntu server 18.04, you are in control of installing and configuring Linux. You need to maintain system security and make sure you create system backups. You also work with the Apple Xserve server. You need to maintain the Xserve so it is working correctly. For the Windows server 2016 you are in control of keeping the server up to date. Make sure it is secure and working properly. You update the Operating Systems, check application updates, check hardware, etc.  You also manage the FOG server. This is important because you image all of the computers. You will also need knowledge with HyperV, you will use that a lot. Being a Systems Administrator is a huge responsibility because you keep all of the computers on each server working correctly.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the configuration, upkeep and the reliability of the operation of computer systems, especially with servers.
  • They are in control of supporting, installing, and maintaining servers and other systems.
  • They make sure the system is fully functioning.
  • They monitor the systems performance and troubleshoot issues.

Web-services Administrator

Job Description

As web-service administrator they maintain Web environment by identifying system requirements,systems such as Windows, Linex and Apple ; installing upgrades ; monitoring system performance ; performance tuning ; troubleshooting system hardware ; software ; operating management systems ; designing and running system load/stress testing ; escalating application problems to vendor

Responsibilities

  • Establishes Web system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.
  • Establishes Web system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of server hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; defining system and operational policies and procedures.

Media Coordinator

Job Description:

A Media Coordinator are communicating professionals who develop advertisements content for a quality amount of media platforms. You would have to research, write, proofread, and edit all content and plan and execute all media/advertisements campaigns. Media coordinators, also called media buyers or directors, typically plan and execute print and broadcast advertising campaigns for clients. Social and digital media coordinators design and implement social media and Internet-based promotional campaigns for clients. A bachelor's degree in a related field is usually necessary for careers in advertising, marketing and promotions.

Tech Manager

Job Description

An effective technical manager is someone who is also technically well-informed. When needed, they are familiar with and can perform all levels of tasks such as troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. A technical manager provides technical direction for development, design and systems integration. A technical manager is assigned to make sure all of the technicians are on task and working efficiently and assuring all technicians are trained on the tasks that they're technicians are assigned to. Also manages work orders and that they are being worked on properly.

Operations Manager

Description:

Another name for General Manager. In charge of everything that goes on, work hours, employees, etc. Operations Manager Job Description. They also analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.

SOHO Support Job

Description:

The SOHO Support position is responsible for the support and management of a client’s local network upon order. The SOHO Support will function as a network administrator and must have experience in the computer networking field at minimum an understanding of local network connections and the troubleshooting associated with said network.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with peers and the client.
  • Document all jobs done for a client and be able to have clear details.
  • Set up and maintain a local network and properly secure it.
  • Be respectful to the client and put them first when you are on the job.
  • Troubleshoot local network problems and set up preventive measures against any future problems.
  • Assist clients with any questions or request they may have as long as it falls into the jurisdiction and responsibility of the job field.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with computer networking and setting up a small area network and maintaining it at minimum.
  • Experience with router and modem settings and experience with the different settings inside of said devices.
  • Experience with the Windows 7 Operating System or greater, experience with the Window’s networking tools and settings.

General Consultant

Description:

A General Consultant works with different customers to set up their computer, and network systems. They find flaws in their systems and think of solutions to fix these problems along with what proprietary services they would be able to cover. The point of a Consultant is to go to a company looking to upgrade or update their computers, network, or other technological systems and assist them in finding services that their company does.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding all services that their company can provide

  • Having knowledge in multiple fields, as well as having some level of training in them
  • Having the ability to scan networks for faults, and knowing how well certain computers would run in certain networks or other groups

Data Recovery Specialist

Description:

Data recovery specialist: A position in data recovery can be slow at times, but when disaster strikes, it’s extremely fast-paced. The specialist must be able to think and act quickly to mitigate damages and bring data back to production in the fastest way possible. Each hour is more downtime and revenue for the company. Data recovery specialists also perform basic maintenance and support to avoid data disasters.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge on programs and tools necessary to repair and recover memory
  • Must have the willingness to strive to find and research any other methods to operate on memory
  • Required to follow all safety and discretion clauses

Responsibilities:

  • Recovery of lost or damaged memory
  • Recovery of deleted or wiped memory
  • Removal of password on Windows ‘99 systems and above
  • Full wiping of memory and scrambling of sensitive data (if requested)
  • Repair, removal and/or assessment of problem with a memory device

  • Forensic discovery of computer data that’s either hidden or damaged

Computer Service Technicians

Description:

  • Ask questions and listen to customers in order to find out the issue, explain the problem in a clear and understandable way and give them options for repair or replacement
  • Be able to use diagnostic tools to assess or monitor computer systems

Mobile Technician

Description:

Mobile Technicians repair and maintain smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.

Clerk

Description:

Keeps track of all work orders and makes sure they get done in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Check Current Work Order Form for any new work orders
  • Create ticket for every new work order with all information collected
  • Check Help Request Form Responses
  • Check all the open tickets which should be entered into the Spiceworks Progress Sheet
  • Keep track of which date things got done by tech
  • Ensure tech gets done using "3 Strikes Then Your Out" method (strike only if no progress)
